Ernest Sanders

	Ernest Sanders, 56, of DuQuoin, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2002 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.
	Mr. Sanders was a truck driver for Porters.  He was a U.S. veteran of the Vietnam Conflict.  He was of the Baptist faith.
	He was born August 9, 1945 at Anna, the son of Oscar H. and Leona (Taylor) Sanders Sr.  He married Jennifer Marlow on December 11, 1993 at Benton.
	 Surviving are his wife, Jennifer Sanders of Benton; two sons, Kevin Sanders of Advance, Mo. and Marvin Newell of Goldsboro, N.C.; four daughters, Rebecca Sanders of DuQuoin, Kandi Presley of West Frankfort, Angela Embrick of DuQuoin and Ursula Embrick of DuQuoin; three brothers, Oscar Sanders Jr. of Anna, William Sanders of Jonesboro and Roy Swofford of Anna; eight sisters, Patty Lence of Anna, Marty Ford of Cape Girardeau, Mo., Pam Moore of Chaffee, Mo., Rose Parker of Grand Tower, Norma Laminck of Cobden, Leona Jacks of Davenport, Iowa, Nadine Campbell of Anna and Mary Lou Toler of Grand Chain and 10 grandchildren.
	Funeral services were Saturday, May 11 at 1 p.m. at Neal-McClure Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ted Clark officiating.  Interment was in Holts Prairie Baptist Cemetery in Pinckneyville.  Graveside military rites were conducted by the DuQuoin VFW 513.
	Friends called at Neal-McClure Funeral Home in DuQuoin on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 7:30 a.m. until time of service.
